The Holistic Art Crew is a place to explore your place in a changing world, using art as your medium. More than ever, community is important not only to our mental health, but also our physical health. The World Health Organization recently released findings that loneliness can be as damaging to our health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day!

Our focus for the upcoming session is “Creating Community in Difficult Times,” where the community aspect is doubled. As we work individually to create connections in daily life, we will also be building community with other members of the Holistic Art Crew!

Together, we will practice holistic art techniques, learn from and work with our anxiety, hone in on our gifts, and create ways to thrive and connect, even as the world changes in overwhelming ways.

“Creating Community in Difficult Times” begins on

Saturday, April 5, 2025 at

12:00pm Central Standard Time (North America, Chicago time)

• We will meet on Zoom every other Saturday at 12:00pm Central Standard Time (North America, Chicago time)

• We will meet for 3 months. Committing to this process for 90 days will give it time to sink in and make lasting change.

• We’ll be focusing on watercolor techniques this session, but any type of paint or oil pastels will work!

• Holistic Art Crew meeting dates:

• Bi-weekly community meetings and artmaking sessions with the Holistic Art Crew (90 minutes each session.)

• Weekly journaling prompts to use in conjunction with your art-making, which will help unlock new possibilities in your life. This includes prompts on non-meeting weeks to help you build your own sustainable practice that you can do even after the session ends.

• A members-only video library of watercolor techniques, information about supplies, and guided examples of the Holistic Art Process.

• Step-by-step guides to learn the Holistic Art Process I created when I was in a difficult time in my life. This process has guided me through ups and downs over the last 11 years, and it’s the at the heart of my workshops and my 1-on-1 client work.

• A members-only encrypted group chat, where we will be able to connect with each other and share our art and discoveries between sessions.
